Lamar proved his infinite potential earlier this year when he released his first charting digital album Section.80. The Cali native stirred up heavy media buzz by displaying heartfelt lyrics... with such influences as the "late" Tupac Shakur, Nas, and DMX. The album is highly recommended for fans of "Real Hip-Hop" and will not disappoint.
Foster The People, a group of three which was formed in 2009, gained publicity in the summer of 2011 with the release of their album Torches - A refreshing start to the new Pop Rock culture. An album with "trippy" vocals, meaningful lyrics, and melodies to groove to (What more could you ask for?). Foster's influences include The Beach Boys, Gorillaz, MGMT, and other Alternative greats.
